Yesterday, Mr Andrew Carrothers reached a personal milestone in completing his 100th Mako robotic assisted surgery procedure at Nuffield Health Cambridge, with the help of his team.
This is a second great milestone, showing that robotic assisted surgery continues to provide our patients with added benefits of greater precision, better planning for their surgery and quicker recovery times, by using the latest technology available to us as surgeons.
Carrothers Orthopaedics offer Mako robotic assisted surgery for:
- Partial knee replacement
- Total knee replacement
- Total hip replacement
Andrew is proud to be able to say he has completed cases for all three types of surgery and continues to be able to offer these to patients.
Mr Carrother’s 100th Mako case at Nuffield Cambridge, was celebrated by the team with cake – provided by Nuffield Health Cambridge and Stryker.
“Stryker is one of the world’s leading medical technology companies and, together with our customers, is driven to make healthcare better”
